Trainee Risk Assessor

We are searching for a Trainee Risk Assessor to support with the delivery of our risk assessmnet services within their area.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for undertaking legionella risk assessments, risk assessment reviews and surveys on a wide variety of water systems  and will require a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue. You will also be responsible for the training and development of our trainee risk assessors and will assist in the overall technical development of the risk assessment document

To succeed in this role, you will be:

A highly motivated individual, willing to work hard to both understand and deliver the key principles of the statutory requirements within ACOPL8, HSG 274, and Health Care Technical Memorandum 04/01 (full training will be provided in these areas). You will be an extremely diligent person, who is fully committed to ensure that our clients receive a professional service, with the highest standards of customer service.

The successful applicants will need to possess the following skills and abilities:

Skills/Training Requirements

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A basic working knowledge of the HSE’s ACoP L8, HSG274 and HTM-04-01
  • An understanding of hot & cold water systems 
  • At least two years’ experience of legionella control and water hygiene monitoring industry or equivalent
