Strategic Partnership Manager (Health) (KW13018) – Bath, BA2 7AY
About the role
We’re looking for a talented relationship manager to help us build stronger, more strategic partnerships to advance the University’s health and wellbeing research and innovation ambitions.
This is a brand-new role designed to enhance the way we collaborate – making our partnerships more seamless, valuable, and purpose-driven. You’ll play a key role in shaping a more intentional approach to how we leverage our strengths, working with academics and wider colleagues to support the transition to a more formalised outcomes-driven partnerships model.

This role is internally known as Partnership Manager.

Stage 1 interviews will be held remotely on Thursday, 9th October. Final interviews will take place in person on Wednesday, 15th October.
Your focus will be on:
- Partnership development and innovation – expanding, strengthening and maintaining our relationships with healthcare organisations including those in our region – BSW Hospitals Group (the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, the Royal United Hospital in Bath and the Salisbury Foundation Trust) and BSW Integrated Care Board.
- Delivering excellent service – acting as a two-way conduit i.e. the central point of contact for partners, helping them navigate the university and access the right people and resources, and vice versa for our academic community to connect with partners.
- Defining what excellent partnership working looks like – helping us build a blueprint for stronger intent and growth in this area. This involves spotting innovation / commercial opportunities to develop value / income generating relationships. Key to this is building and managing an academic network so collaborative opportunities and shared value are unlocked.
