Staff networks and groups

We foster an inclusive and welcoming culture and want to ensure that every new team member feels at home from day one.

We welcome and support individuals from under-represented groups and have various staff networks which help us to progress equality. These include a Women’s Network, Disability Network, People of Colour Network and Kaleidoscope Network, for people who identify as LGBTQ+.

Our networks play a really important role in helping create an inclusive environment and building a sense of community here at Bath. They are instrumental in helping people feel comfortable in bringing their whole selves to work.

We currently have a silver Athena Swan award in recognition of our commitment to promoting gender equality and we’re working towards our first submission for the Race Equality Charter. We are committed to promoting gender and race equality and addressing challenges in these areas at the University.
