About the role

Would you like to start or continue your career supporting Children and Young People who have a disability?

An opportunity has arisen at Woodland Lodge in Huntingdon

Woodland Lodge is an 8 bedded Short Break & Long Term home for Children and Young People aged 8 to 18 who have a learning or physical disability and or additional health or behavioural needs.

We provide overnight and day care for Children and Young People, in a safe and supportive environment whilst providing a wide variety of stimulating activities and experiences – this includes activities outside of the homes such as boat trips, trampoline parks, and bowling but also includes in house activities mini disco, sensory play, cooking, artwork and many more.

We offer

  • A comprehensive package of induction and ongoing training and continuing professional development.
  • Monthly Supervision with a senior member of staff who will guide, support and coach you.
  • Diploma Level 4 in Residential Childcare
  • We offer a variety of experiences which could support career progression within Social Care
  • Generous Annual Leave Allowance
