Engineering Surveyor – Hounslow
Job Description
The Engineering Survey team is employed to deliver the geospatial capabilities required to efficiently and accurately deliver the works in accordance with the contract requirements. As part of this team, the role of an Engineering Surveyor is to implement the Survey Managers and Senior Engineering Surveyors strategy to deliver all survey related aspects for the Tranche 5 project.
- Supporting the Senior Surveyor with all project requirements.
- Undertake and manage self-delivery survey requirements.
- Assisting with the supervision of sub-contract survey/setting-out works.
- Manage safety and safe systems of work.
- Support the development of the 3D utility model.
- Maintain survey equipment and develop equipment registers.
- Performing the Survey Instrument maintenance and calibration checks, storing the relevant records and reporting any issues to the Senior Surveyor.

Experience
- Proven experience working as an Engineering Surveyor.
- Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicate outcomes
- Strong work ethic with flexibility to work a shift pattern and unsociable hours/nights

Qualifications
- Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, working towards or similar.
