We shape, create, and deliver pioneering solutions that transform the performance of the UK’s infrastructure ecosystem across the UK’s energy, water, transportation, and defence & nuclear markets.
Transport: In transport, we work with our customers to develop and optimise the strategic infrastructure that will enable economic growth at both the local and national level.
Energy: In energy, we work with our customers on the transition to clean energy while providing practical solutions that improve the efficiency, sustainability and resilience of existing infrastructure.
Water: We work with water and waste water companies to develop solutions that improve water quality, affordability and resilience.
Defence: In Defence and Nuclear, we deliver critical national infrastructure combining our civil and defence nuclear experience, ensuring long-term energy security and a sustained UK deterrent programme.

In 2023 we developed and implemented an ESG programme to accelerate our approach to enhance performance in this vital area, and at the same time we are working with our customers to support them in reaching their ESG goals.

Not only are we working with our customers to help decarbonise their businesses and improve their resilience, but we are also shaping solutions that deliver biodiversity net gain.
Performance
We collaborate more closely than ever with customers, partners, communities and wider industry to deliver infrastructure faster and more efficiently, without compromising on innovation, safety or environmental impact.
Our 3,500 people manage a workforce of around 16,000 people and collaborate with customers, partners, communities and wider industry to make infrastructure fit for a better future.
