As Product Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all products comply with FCA regulations and support clear consumer understanding. You’ll be instrumental in aligning product governance with the AA’s risk and compliance culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and analysing key product data
- Reviewing and updating terms and conditions
- Approving marketing materials to ensure regulatory and brand alignment
- Presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the business
This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

What will I be doing?
As Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of governance and regulatory tasks that ensure our products meet both internal standards and external requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing governance packs for regular forums such as Product MBRs, Underwriter Forums, COF, POF, Consumer Duty, and Voice of the Customer
- Collating Consumer Duty statistics for monthly review and interpretation by the Senior Product Manager
- Managing POF and COF updates and actions, including tracking, chasing, and maintaining a submission calendar
- Maintaining the Product Register, ensuring continuous review and accurate updates
- Supporting annual product reviews, including scheduling, tracking submissions, outcomes, and associated actions
- Managing product terms and conditions, including maintaining a change log and overseeing the full lifecycle from draft to fulfilment
- Supporting audit preparation, coordinating content for internal, external, and customer audits in collaboration with other business areas
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, with ongoing reviews and identification of opportunities for improvement
- Building trusted relationships across the business to identify changes and implement new processes efficiently
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven ability to apply structured decision-making to complex challenges, delivering credible and well-considered solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present data and insights effectively
- Solid understanding of business operations, processes, and the AA brand
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Experience in identifying and driving continuous improvement across business areas
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible change that benefits both customers and commercial outcomes
- Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities, sharing insights and best practices
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong commitment to success
- Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
Education and Qualifications
- Degree educated is preferable but not essential
