PA Housing

A diverse and thriving organisation that will make you feel at home

A little bit about us

Our business is not about properties. It’s about the people who live in our homes and the neighbourhoods and communities they live in.

We’re a registered provider of social housing offering more than 24,000 homes across the Midlands, London, and the South East – including affordable rent, independent living, and shared ownership homes for those in need. We aim to put our residents at the heart of everything we do and offer good services to everybody.

If you’re the kind of person who likes to make a positive difference in the lives of others, you could be the perfect fit to join our diverse and welcoming team.

Office locations:

3 Bede Island Rd, Leicester LE2 7EA

85-89 High Street, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 1DZ

We offer hybrid working so you can work from home a few days a week to suit your needs and flexible, compressed hours so you can have additional days off.

Our purpose

To provide warm, safe, and affordable homes and related services to those who need them.

Our values

We’re defined by our actions, and our values help to define how we treat people, our behaviours, and our level of services.

Deliver

  • We do the right thing.
  • We keep our promises.
  • We see things through to the end.
  • If we get something wrong, we will say sorry and we will resolve it.

One Team

  • We make a positive difference to our residents’ lives.
  • We are one team; we play our part and support each other for the benefit of our residents.
  • Our colleagues will be supported to be the best they can be.

Respect

  • We listen and learn.
  • We treat people fairly, with respect and integrity.
  • We listen to understand, not just listen to respond.

Everybody is unique

At PA, we know that Everybody is unique, and we’re committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and a culture that actively values difference. This commitment is promoted by our Board and applies to all residents, work colleagues, and other stakeholders, such as contractors, volunteers, and partners.

We believe that everyone is entitled to respect and dignity, and we’re committed to building an environment where our employees, residents, contractors and visitors are treated this way. This also includes providing equal opportunities for all, whether they’re our colleagues or our residents. We strive to make sure that our workforce reflects the diverse communities we serve, so we can promote a sense of belonging and mutual respect among our residents.

The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our residents and our colleagues enrich our identity. We’re committed to making sure that our practices and policies not only meet their needs but also contribute to an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and treated equitably.

As part of our people promise, our colleagues and residents agree that:

  • We will treat each other with dignity, respect, as individuals, and as we’d expect to be treated.
  • Discrimination, on any grounds, is not okay. Ever.
  • We will not tolerate bullying, threats, or acts of verbal or physical abuse.
  • We will actively challenge and take action where we see examples of poor behaviour from others.
