Wraparound Care Assistant (Breakfast Club) – Westbury, Wiltshire, United Kingdom
Salary: £12.65 per hour (£24,414 pro rata per annum) Hours of work: Part time (7 hours 30 minutes per week, 7.15am until 8.45am Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days) Contract type: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2026)This is not a Wiltshire Council vacancy therefore please contact Chapmanslade C of E Primary School for further information. All about the role:Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our before-school provision.The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.We are looking for someone who: Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one); Is a strong team player;Has a positive and flexible attitude;Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;Is First Aid trained (advantageous).We can offer the successful candidate: An ambitious and vibrant place to work, with enthusiastic children and staff who are passionate about learning;A workplace where everyone feels valued and supported;Opportunities for training and progression;The support of Acorn Education Trust, with excellent opportunities to work with experienced colleagues;A supportive and clearly defined induction procedure.
