About the role
Exciting opportunity to join the North America Reckitt Core Insights & Analytics (I&A) team working on one of the lead multi category brands in our portfolio – Lysol. This role will work with key leaders in U.S. Marketing, Sales and R&D to ensure the voice of the consumer is an integral part of delivering the business results and executional excellence.

Working with and influencing key leaders in U.S. Marketing and Sales will be critical to embed learning and drive decision making.

This role is responsible for uncovering insights and embedding knowledge that drives competitive advantage for the Lysol x-category portfolio. In this role, you are expected to act as a consulting partner to the Marketing and trade teams. This involves uncovering business challenges, developing a learning agenda, implementing research studies, interpreting results and building insights, and driving the learning to in-market action for US brand strategy, innovation, communication and activation. You will be expected to be a co-owner of the business, with an independent, fact-based, consumer-centric voice.
Your responsibilities
– Be the expert on the U.S consumer and champion consumer-centric decision making across the business.Â
– Champion and user of new and innovative ways of understanding the consumer including AI based research techniques.
– Provide high quality support to business partners by guiding interpretation of market research results, identifying patterns across studies, uncovering insights and growth opportunities for the business, and strongly contributing to practical action plans following research.Â
– Be involved in business planning & execution, including innovation, communications, 4P execution. You will be an integral member of the business team, expected to contribute to strategic planning by bringing a consumer lens to the identification of brand-building activities that will drive penetration.Â
– Â Have a clear understanding of business objectives in order to develop, manage, and execute research plans to best meet them and the overall strategy of the brand and market. Includes planning and management of the research budget, in partnership with Senior Manager I&A and Marketing partners.
– Track and understand consumer and category trends to enable brands to stay ahead, drive brand plans and actions across the marketing funnel.Â
The experience we're looking for
– Strong consumer insight background and passion
– Minimum 3 years’ experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, preferably from both a design and implementation point of view
– Experimentation with new and innovative AI based research techniques
– Proven ability to leverage data to drive insight and business results
– Strong communication skills and ability to tell a story with data that influences management-level stakeholders
– Understand and use Nielsen retail data and familiarity with panel data Â
– Proven track record as a top performer within a multi-cultural environment
– Proven leadership skills include initiative, persistence, creativity, bias towards action, and success even in the face of ambiguity and complexity
