The Foundation programme has developed many
professional and academic associations with the Creative
Industries via external projects, industry links, staff research,
exhibitions and work placements.We are looking for a Fine Art
contemporary practitioner with experience and knowledge of Visual
Communication to teach in both specialist areas. The successful
applicant will be required to work collegiately with our heads of
Fine Art and Visual Communication to support students in these
pathways within the Foundation team.
This is a practical hands-on teaching role
developing students Art and Design practices, drawing, materials
exploration and creative thinking skills in a studio-based
environment.
Key
Requirements:
- We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic
and a highly organised individual who will work effectively and
collegiality within the Foundation Team
- Experience of teaching Fine Art and
Visual Communication in FE or at a higher level
- Demonstrate excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
- Have a degree in a related subject or
equivalent experience
- The teaching identified for this post is
related to Art and Design at Foundation FE Level
