Salary: £25,989-£26,824 (FTE- Term time only)Hours of work: 8.40am-3.15pm TA (27 hours 55 minutes per week) and 12.00pm-12.30pm MDSA (1 hour 30 minutes per week) working during term time.Contract type: PermanentThis is not a Wiltshire Council vacancy therefore please contact St John’s Catholic Primary School for further information. All about the role:We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant and MDSA/Playleader to support children with complex learning needs at St John’s catholic Primary School.The successful candidate will be someone who: Supports the Catholic ethos of our school, knowing all are welcome. Has experience working with children who have complex special educational needs Is professional, flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of the staff team. Is an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community. Is patient and understanding when working with children. Has a good knowledge of how to support learning and has practical ideas on how to achieve this. Has a willingness to undertake training, including Team Teach Has excellent behaviour management skills Is enthusiastic with a good sense of humourWill support OPAL playIn return we can offer a very supportive and friendly working environment, all necessary training and children who are a joy to teach.
