Salary: TA SCP 6 £13.47 (per hour) MDSA SCP 2 £12.65 (per hour)
Hours: 10.5 hours TA / 2 hours MDSA
Contract: Fixed term

We are looking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant, to support pupils and provide high quality teaching and learning opportunities for all our children. This is a fixed term maternity cover placement running until 22 nd July 2026.
We are looking for applicants with:
- a good understanding of child development and high quality learning
- an interest in being involved in all areas throughout the school
- a calm and measured nature and a good sense of humour
Frogwell Primary School is a caring and highly inclusive one form entry mainstream school with a supportive and welcoming staff team. We pride ourselves on providing a highly nurturing environment that supports all children to be physically, emotionally, mentally and socially healthy. Our school also hosts a Resource Base for pupils with complex learning needs.
The post of part Teaching Assistant will be:
- 5.15 hours per day, for 2 days per week, term time only.
- The hours will be 8:30am – 12.00pm. 1:30pm – 3:15pm
Midday Meals Supervisor:
The successful applicant will also be expected to join our Midday Meals Team. The hours for the post of Midday Meals Supervisor are 1 hour per day (from 12.00 – 1.00pm), for 2 days per week, term time only.
No experience is necessary, other than a desire to work with children. Training will be given to the successful applicant.
