We are seeking outstanding practitioners to join us as a Teaching and Learning Specialist, leading change, supporting colleagues, and driving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. In this high profile role, you will:
• Deliver inspirational teaching (8 hours a week) and act as a role model across our campuses.
• Carry out lesson observations formally and informally, giving feedback that transforms practice.
• Mentor and coach staff, raising standards and supporting learner success.
• Champion innovation, personalised learning, and digital teaching approaches through our South Essex Colleges Group Learning System.
• Play a key role in ensuring the College achieves its ambition to become a Centre for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Assessment. What we’re looking for: ✔ Qualified lecturer (PGCE/DET or equivalent) with proven FE success. ✔ A coach and mentor who inspires confidence and improvement. ✔ Experience of using learning technologies to enhance outcomes. ✔ A confident, flexible professional who thrives on challenge and change.
