We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading agricultural food supply chain business as we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join the Frontier team, based at Witham St Hughs on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will have responsibility for understanding the needs of our food and feed ingredient customers, identifying how we best align our offer and solutions to meet their requirements currently and in the future. With a strong collaborative skill set you will become core to our sustainability and grain supply chain offering.

About You

  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and acumen
  • Ability to build professional relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams
  • A high level of initiative, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and customer relationship management tools

Your Role

As a Strategic Account Manager your role will involve:

  • Developing and delivering a range of solutions to meet the customers’ requirements. The objective of Frontier becoming the first-choice partner for developing long term and trusting relationships with complete and robust supply chains.
  • Understanding the value proposition offered through both bespoke and generic supply chains with a clear view on the commercial advantages to Frontier and other stakeholders in all supply chains
  • Supporting consumers on their sustainability and sustainable crop journey and helping Frontier lead positive change for the industry
  • Ability to manage competing stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and well communicated
  • Developing a strategic approach at the right level for specific grain customers
  • Developing internal relationships to ensure the ability to deliver on key objectives and develop a coordinated and supportive approach to customers
  • Leading implementation and delivering on agreed service levels and commitments
  • Working under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
  • Adapting quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, while providing a responsive customer focussed service to ensure delivery of SLA’s and KPI’s and respond accordingly to the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
  • Motivating and creating a positive team environment while providing clear direction, delegating as appropriate to ensure positive team outcomes
