Accountable for all Macro Food and GM Space changes, ensure changes are aligned to business strategy Accountable for all midi, category space changes across Food, GM. Makes space recommendations aligned to availability, what customers want and aligned to commercial strategies Accountable for the systematic floor-planning changes that associate all products to stores, ensure the changes are complete to enable supply to systematically see the link between store and products this is critical in enabling products to physically go to stores. Accountable for all space stakeholder management and ensuring activity lands on time across all macro and midi space changes across food and Gm. Accountable for range tiering which ensures all categories are planned, reviewed and delivered across national, store specific, or clustered range and space. Accountable for space recommendations for all store space projects across Food and GM Accountable for GM (general merchandise) modular planning team including ensuring all modulars are customer centric, availability focused and inventory reviewed to ensure a balanced level of stock adhering to mod planning principles are built for stores.
Key Essential Skills Include:
- Must have experience using up to date cat man solutions from blue yonder or similar (relex as an example)
- Must have ranging experience either at range universe or range deployment level to make ranging recommendations
- Must have previous project management experience
- Must have led a team or coached/mentored others
- Must have advanced excel skills and highly numerate
- Must be able to influence stakeholders on space and range recommendations that have a balance of bringing right commerciality, customer centric and overall business needs together.
- The ability to work on short term projects and plan longer activities and work across multiple timescales across Food and GM activity.
- Advanced communication skills
Desirable skills include:
- Previous modular planning experience is desired
- Previous commercial experience
- Experience of managing multiple projects
- Project Management qualification
- Previous retail experience
- Power BI experience
- Ability to build comprehensive reporting
