Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from specification, design, and test-driven development, right through to deployment, verification, and maintenance of software components.
Collaborate as part of an Agile Software team, ensuring quality, timeliness, value, and requirements are at the forefront.
The opportunity to supervise and mentor junior engineers through their early career.
Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation of AM software projects.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another relevant STEM subject, or demonstrable equivalent experience
Experience of developing performance-critical C++ components (multi-threading, cross-platform, inter-process communications)
Understanding of Object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles

Understanding of distributed version control systems (Git) and software design languages (UML/SysML)
Experience with C# .NET, PowerShell, Python, Matlab
Experience with MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence, Enterprise Architect
In this role, you’ll be enthusiastic about innovative software solutions to solve complex problems, as well as someone who works well in a collaborative team environment. You’ll have good communication skills, showing critical, system-based thinking, with an appetite for learning and applying new knowledge.
