Who are we?
WRAP is a global environmental action NGO championing the shift towards a circular economy, fundamentally reshaping how we produce, consume, and manage resources. Our vision is a world transformed, in which Circular Living is commonplace. Where the systems that provide our everyday goods contribute to the world’s prosperity and sustainability instead of reducing it.
WRAP is driving Circular Living through four key areas: accelerating the circular economy, future-proofing food, preventing problem plastics and transforming textiles. We catalyse action from policy makers, businesses, NGOs and citizens to make it happen.
We have offices in the UK, USA and Australia, and live projects in over 30 countries.
Join us at WRAP and you’ll drive important change to make Circular Living the norm.
The role
Do you want to make change happen by providing high quality research and analysis that is practical and useful for businesses, governments and third sector organisations? This could be setting out methods for measuring levels of repair and reuse for different products, specifying guidance for an industry sector to conduct life cycle assessments, or synthesising learnings on impactful waste reduction policies.
- You will cover a range of projects, balancing the demands of different tasks and deadlines by task-managing and developing less experienced team members. You’ll do this by working closely with the team Lead Analyst and other Senior Analysts to balance workload and share learning across the team (as well as with other Policy and Insights and WRAP colleagues).
- The role includes identifying opportunities for our team to grow through new projects, helping the team Lead Analyst with bids and stakeholder relationships in line with the team growth strategy.

We’re looking for experienced candidates, ready to take on a variety of projects as part of a team of research analysts. - manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders in terms of research project scope, recommending appropriate research methods to accommodate funder requests without scope creep;
- write well-argued reports based on robust research and analysis, demonstrating an ability to present complex data and information to different technical and lay audiences;
- manage competing deadlines and resource requests on your and your project team’s time, building in flexibility where possible and negotiating with teams and their managers where not;
- understand the principles of sustainability and the circular economy, as well as having knowledge of methods available for quantifying environmental impacts; and
- demonstrate working knowledge of plastics and packaging policy in the UK or internationally e.g. pEPR.
