Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance Team at Stroud District Council, for a part time Senior Accounting Technician (2-3 days). This is a wide ranging role which plays a key part within the budget team,providing financial support and advice to all budget holders within the Council.

About the role
This role covers budget setting,budget monitoringand year endclosedownprocessesacross revenue and capitalprogrammes, It includes working closely with budget holders and staff across the Council in order to provide excellent service and support.
TheSenior Accounting Technician role will also assist with year-end duties auditprocesses,andan array of ad-hoc projects that are required within the public sector.

About you
The postholder will be analytical and be able to maintain effective business partnering relationships withbudget holders andmanagers. Communicating key financial information in a clear and concise manner. The ability to managecomplex workloads within deadlines is important,as is theconfidenceto challengeand provide constructive and advice where necessary.
