We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of four security officers in a busy, multi-tenanted office building. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional leadership skills with a hands-on approach, ensuring the delivery of a professional, customer-focused security service.
You will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, supporting team development, and acting as the key link between the on-site security team, account management, and centre management.
Role: Security Supervisor
Pay Rate: £14.92
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 19:00
Location: Croydon, CR0 2LX

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Oversee the daily operations of a four-officer security team.
- Conduct regular welfare checks to support team well-being.
- Mentor and coach staff to promote personal and professional development.
- Operational Management
- Ensure all officers are fully trained and compliant with site-specific procedures.
- Implement and support new security processes and initiatives.
- Maintain a visible presence on site to monitor standards and respond to incidents promptly.
- Reporting & Communication
- Produce accurate monthly reports for account management and centre management, highlighting key security activities, incidents, and recommendations.
- Report and document incidents in line with company and site policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for security-related matters.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure team adherence to safety, legal, and procedural requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
- Promote vigilance and proactive security measures across the site.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Proven supervisory or team leader experience in a security role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly observant, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Willingness to progress both personally and as part of a team.
