Sales Performance & Planning Manager – London
At Trustpilot, we’re on an incredible journey. We’re a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world’s largest independent consumer review platform, and while we’ve come a long way, there’s still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!
At Trustpilot, sales excellence starts with smart planning and sharp insights. We’re looking for a Sales Performance & Planning Manager to shape the way we design territories, set quotas, and track performance across our global Commercial organization.
This role sits within FP&A, embedded in the Sales Compensation function with a dotted line into Sales Operations and Commercial Finance — giving you visibility and influence across Finance, HR, and Commercial leadership. It’s all about turning complex data into clarity, building scalable planning models, and ensuring our quota and commission processes run with precision.
You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to align strategies, while creating dynamic spreadsheets and models that become the backbone of decision-making. If you thrive on Excel modeling, love digging into data to uncover insights, and have hands-on experience shaping quota and commission structures — this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead quota, territory, and headcount planning — developing scalable, bottom-up and top-down methodologies that align with our sales strategy and market potential
- Build and maintain dynamic, error-proof planning tools in Excel/Google Sheets that drive accuracy, transparency, and confidence across the business
- Own revenue reporting and forecasting models — creating clean, automated dashboards and pacing analysis to inform Finance, CRO, and Commercial leaders
- Design and refine commission processes — translating performance data into actionable insights, partnering with Sales Compensation to reduce payout errors and streamline workflows
- Strengthen governance and consistency in quota methodology, revenue attribution, and crediting rules, ensuring fairness and clarity for our global salesforce
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, HR, Legal, and Sales Ops to influence incentive structures, support compliance, and align plans to company priorities
- Support strategic projects like Salesforce instrumentation, forecasting architecture, and company-wide reward programs
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial finance, or sales compensation, including 2+ years direct experience with quota setting and commission structures
- An Excel/Google Sheets power user — able to build clean, dynamic, and scalable models from scratch
- Skilled at turning complex datasets into actionable insights; experience with SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, G Sheets) is a plus
- Strong business partner and communicator — able to influence and align with VP+ leaders across Commercial, Finance, and HR
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and driving clarity, with a problem-solving mindset and eye for risk/opportunity
- Detail-oriented, structured, and collaborative — motivated by building processes that scale globally
What’s in it for you:
- A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
- Competitive compensation package + bonus
- 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment
- Restricted Stock Units
- Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
- Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist
- Pension and life insurance
- Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7, Employee Assistance Plan
- Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health
- Paid parental leave
- Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme
- Central office location complete with table tennis, a gaming corner, coffee bars, and all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for
- Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials.
- Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.
