Refuse Collector / Waste Operative – Newbridge

To safely and competently work alongside a driver collecting commercial waste on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
  • Work alongside driver on a Trade waste vehicle collecting customers waste
  • Compliance with all legislation 
  • Duty of care to self & others
  • Vehicle security including equipment & plant
  • Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
  • Provide customers with the highest level of service
  • Excellent awareness & understanding of Health & Safety

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Able to handle bins of more than 60kgs and regular alighting and boarding of vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Able to commute to site and commence work from 5am
