JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Product Development Coordinator, the role collaborates with the Central Product and Design teams and is responsible for overseeing the development process from the initial concept to the final garment realization, ensuring the accurate completion of the bills of materials (BOM). The position also involves close collaboration with pattern makers and the atelier, ensuring correct communication of the technical information necessary for garment creation. Additionally, the role works with the Purchasing department for material coding and ordering, and with the CAD team to provide placement guidelines in order to respect the creative vision.

 

This role is offered with a Maternity Cover contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work closely with central design and product teams to develop each garment from initial concept to the finished product;
  • To attend fittings, brainstorming ideas and solutions to ensure the design vision is translated into the product;
  • To organize one's activities to ensure compliance with the delivery timelines for prototypes and samples as defined by the business, while meeting quality standards;
  • To collaborate with RM Purchasing team for the correct coding and ordering of raw materials;
  • To be responsible for the hand off to Production of all ranges of garments;
  • To liaise with both the external suppliers and the internal atelier on all cycles of product development;
  • To liaise with Warehouse and Logistics team to have all the material collect and to give all the information needed for the shipment and the invoicing.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Proven product development experience within the luxury/fashion industry 
  • Great experience in PM Lectra System/Gamma Team System
  • Passionate about Product Development
  • Ability to work in partnership with the Design team 
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
