Job Title: Process Improvement Analyst

£40,000 circa dependant on skills and experience 

Permanent – 37 Hours a week 

Location: Based within the Anglian Water Region, covering areas such as Northampton, Basildon, Ipswich, Norwich, Grimsby, Lincoln, Huntingdon & Cambridge  

 

Your role may involve travelling across our region to support process and continuous improvement across our operational sites. We offer the ability to work from home however you will need to be flexible to cover the entire Anglian region.

 

What will my role as Performance Improvement Analyst involve?

In this role you will be focused on providing robust and timely insight to support performance improvement in our environmental metric, with a specific focus on Pollutions.

 

As a Performance Improvement Analyst, you will use your skills to interrogate our systems and use data gathered from Root Cause Analysis and other sources to generate insight that can be used to target improvement activity across our Water Recycling business.

This is a key part of our role as Environmental Stewards and will be supporting our front-line teams with activities that will drive performance improvement in all our environmental performance metrics, including pollutions, flooding, and compliance.

 

Your key duties will include: 

  • Use data, analysis, and insight to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Support process improvement in the line across all of Water Recycling including monitoring and tracking delivery of actions.

  • Collaborate with the other teams in Water Recycling, to help focus and embed change.

  • Work closely with the rest of the WR Performance Team to ensure consistency of delivery.

What does it take to be a Performance Improvement Lead?

 

  • Ability to use PowerBI to develop reporting and insight.

  • Some experience of other Microsoft Power Platforms.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

  • Commercial awareness, including financial, knowledge, and judgement.

  • Ability to challenge constructively and reach positive outcomes.

  • Creative thinking and ability to question the norm.

  • Ability to develop and present clear and reasoned options.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Reimbursement of reasonable business travel costs.
