Pastry Chef needed, paying up to £43K
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our high-end contract catering team within a prestigious banking environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who enjoys producing refined desserts and hospitality offerings in a professional corporate setting.
What you’ll be doing as a Pastry Chef:
- Creating and delivering fine dining desserts for restaurant service (up to 50 covers per week)
- Producing a range of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats for the on-site coffee bar
- Preparing elegant petit fours for hospitality and meeting room service
- Contributing to hospitality events with buffets, finger foods, canapés, and dessert displays
- Maintaining exceptional presentation standards and attention to detail
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
- Supporting menu development with seasonal and innovative pastry ideas
What you’ll need to succeed as a Pastry Chef:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in fine dining, hospitality, luxury hotels, or high-end contract catering
- Strong pastry, dessert, and cake production skills
- Creative flair with excellent presentation standards
- Organised and able to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and allergen management
- A positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
