Parts Advisor – Dartford, Kent
FM Conway is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Parts Advisor to work within our Plant and Workshop division based in Dartford. This is a full-time permanent role, which offers a competitive salary and wide range of benefits.
The duties of our Parts Advisor will include:
–Identifying, locating, and supplying parts and accessories for workshop technicians and completing necessary documentation and computer entries
-Exchanging and replacing parts according to instructions
-Providing accurate estimates for parts, ensuring that the workshop is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved
-Maintaining appropriate stock levels and replenishing promptly
-Keeping the stores area clear and tidy ensuring good health and safety standards
-Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard
-Understanding the stock control processes and policies
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a pro-active and confident candidate, who has experience of communicating with a variety of people via telephone, email, and face to face. It is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar environment.

Our Plant and Workshop division are an essential part of our projects, without the correct plant or HGV/LGV vehicles we wouldn’t be able to transport our materials from our depots to our sites. Our team work hard maintaining our wide range of heavy plant and small tools which include excavators, dumpers, rollers, JCB’s, bulkers, low loaders, grabs, tippers, bitumen tankers, relocate lorries, volumetric mixers, pavers and planers.
