We’re now looking for an inspiring Operations Director, based in London, to join our leadership team and drive the next stage of our growth journey.
As Operations Director, you’ll lead and motivate a talented team of Operations & Account Managers across multiple London sites — ensuring we deliver exceptional food experiences, outstanding service, and strong financial results for every client.
This role is both strategic and hands-on — perfect for a people-focused leader who combines commercial acumen with a genuine passion for food and service excellence.
This new role will be working alongside the existing Operations Director forming a strong team to consistently deliver for our clients and develop the teams.
What you’ll do:
- Provide clear, visionary leadership that inspires teams to deliver sales, profit, and service excellence across all sites.
- Develop and implement strategies that drive growth, client satisfaction, and contract retention in the London region.
- Work closely with the Managing Director and Finance teams to deliver ambitious annual and quarterly budgets.
- Build and sustain a culture of empowerment, engagement, and continuous improvement, living and breathing our foodie values.
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and legislative requirements — maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and service.
- Act as an ambassador for BM, building trusted partnerships with clients, suppliers, and your teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility (£20m+).
- Strong background in contract catering or hospitality, leading teams of 500+ people.
- Excellent commercial and strategic insight, with the ability to spot opportunities and deliver measurable growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A true passion for food, service, and creating memorable experiences.
