Vinney Green Secure Children’s Home offers young people a safe, caring environment, where they will experience quality care, education, vocational and life skills training.Â
As a Night Care Assistant you will be making a difference by ensuring the welfare and care of young people at our Secure Children’s Home during the evening and night time. Â
What will you be doing? Â
- During your shifts, you will monitor all young people at least every five to fifteen minutes to ensure they are safe and secure. You will also be involved with undertaking social duties, including talking with clients and providing reassure to enable them to have a good nights’ sleep.
- It will be your responsibility to issue non prescribed medication and personal hygiene materials as necessary.
- You will answer the buzzers from young people immediately and assist in any way.
- Daily, you will wake the young people and supervise breakfast and room cleaning as required.
- It will be key for you to record and maintain written records when necessary.
