Mentoring Support Worker – Trowbridge, Wiltshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £31,537 – £33,699 pro rataHours per week: 22.2 hours Interview date: To be confirmed following shortlisting Child and Youth Voice Team – Empowering Young Voices We are looking for a Mentoring Support Worker who shares our values of listening, inclusion, and empowerment.In this role, you will work across all of our mentoring schemes, with a particular focus on the Leaving Care Mentoring Scheme. This scheme supports volunteer mentors who volunteer with young people leaving care, helping them navigate the transition into adulthood and empowering them to identify and achieve their personal goals.As a Mentoring Support Worker, you will support volunteers by recruiting, training, and guiding them to build strong and positive mentoring relationships. You will also work directly with young people, matching them with mentors, monitoring progress, and at times offering mentoring support yourself. Your role will be key in ensuring young people feel valued, supported, and able to influence the services they receive.We are seeking someone with experience of working with volunteers, mentoring or supporting vulnerable people, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends where needed.
