Hours – M-F 09:00-17:30

About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic Lead Project Manager to head up our Business Change function, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards and aligned with our strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of project managers, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Ensure all projects align with organisational strategy and deliver real business value.
  • Continuously review and improve project management tools and techniques.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, influencing and managing expectations.
  • Champion agile and value stream approaches, supporting the transition to new ways of working.
  • Optimise resources across multiple projects, ensuring teams have what they need to succeed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Oversee performance monitoring and reporting, driving high-quality delivery.
  • Promote a culture of feedback and learning, embedding best practices for future success.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in senior change management roles within fast-paced, regulated environments (mortgage sector experience highly desirable).
  • Experience leading, transforming, and building project management functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • People-focused leader who motivates teams and promotes growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with multiple change management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, Agile, Lean).
  • Logical, analytical thinker with a proactive, articulate, and responsive style.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and take ownership.
