Job Description
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
Being a Kitchen Porter is about being perfectly placed to see how one of our kitchens operates. It means being able to work in all areas of the kitchen, helping chefs, building your knowledge and playing an important role in the smooth running of the operation.
- Helping with deliveries
- Taking responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchens
- Learning simple food preparation skills

- Please note, this role is based at Gatwick Airport and therefore requires photographic ID. We will require a complete 5-year work/education and residential history – this process is handled internally. Successful applicants will also be required to pass a basic disclosure – you are not required to provide this in advance. This will also be handled internally.
- You must have a flexible approach to hours of work as this role includes operating on a four on, two off shift pattern and as you will be working in an airport, the role will include early (starting from 5:00am) and late shifts (finishing at up to 10:00pm), working on a four on, two off shift pattern including early starts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
