Head of Finance, Accounting & Reporting

The Head of Finance, Accounting, and
Reporting will take responsibility for overseeing and managing the financial
activities and internal reporting functions within Haven. This role requires a
strong combination of financial expertise, leadership skills, and the ability
to navigate complex regulatory and business environments. You will lead on the continuous improvement of finance
systems and ensure Finance policies and procedures are fit for purpose and
evolve as needed.

Your Opportunity:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:
– Overseeing the accounting department, including financial accounting, cost accounting, and managerial accounting
– Owning the Finance Process function, ensuring seamless integration with the Technology team and process documentation and training is up to date
– Working with the Financial Controller to develop and update financial policies to align with industry best practices
– Taking responsibility for communicating financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, investors, and regulatory bodies.
– Managing external audits and ensuring audit findings are actioned

What we’d like you to bring:
– A comprehensive understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements
– In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), and compliance requirements, as well as the ability to identify and manage financial risk
– Proven experience in leading, motivating and managing Finance teams
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
