We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team at our Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green, you’ll be working in a high-spec kitchen with top-quality equipment, including Rational iCombi ovens, as well as working in an established and high-performing team.

We are seeking a culinary professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals to our residents, service users and their families & friends.
This post is working 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday and may include some weekends as required.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Menu Planning and Development: Create well-balanced and appetising menus that meet the nutritional needs of seniors while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals with a focus on quality, flavour, and visual appeal. Ensure that meals are served at the right temperature and in a timely manner.
- Kitchen Management: Efficiently manage the kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team delivers exceptional service.
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and any other relevant guidelines.
- Customer Satisfaction: Solicit and incorporate resident feedback to continuously improve the dining experience. Strive for high levels of resident satisfaction through excellent food and service.
What you will need:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for seniors.
- Ability to create innovative and appealing menus.
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory control.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
