Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK’s best workplaces as measured by the Great Place to Work Institute. Based at our Sandy site we are currently looking to recruit harvest workers to join our business on a full-time temporary basis through the harvest time (June to September / October). The successful person will be responsible for generating samples and distribution to our customers. It is important that the coordination and delivery is to a high standard in both quality/quantity for both our Proficiency scheme and moisture meter clinics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Basic evaluation of samples
- General administration and record keeping
- General cleaning and upkeep of operational areas
- Attend meetings to discuss samples, preparation and planning
- Organise couriers
- Sample preparation
- Testing and reporting of results
- Sourcing raw materials
- Organising stock levels
- Bagging up samples
Skills and Experience:
No previous experience is required.
The role can, at times, be physically demanding.
