We are looking for experienced and proactive Front of House Security Officers to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted presence that defines first impressions and ensures a safe and confident environment. You’ll combine your exceptional customer service with vigilance and professionalism to ensure everyone feels both welcomed and safe.
Role: Front of House Officer
Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00 to 19:00
Location: London, EC4A 4TA (nearest tube: Farringdon)
Role Requirements: Door Supervisor SIA licence

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors, always delivering exceptional customer care.
- Carry out ID checks, monitor access, and respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies.
- Provide clear and accurate information in person, over the phone, and by email.
- Maintain vigilance, ensuring health and safety standards are upheld and risks are reported.
- Write concise incident reports to a professional standard.
- Oversee the upkeep of reception, foyers, and meeting areas by coordinating with cleaning staff.
- Work independently and use your initiative to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Valid Door Supervisor SIA licence and a minimum of 1 year’s security experience (preferably in a corporate setting).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a professional and welcoming approach.
- Attention to detail, strong surveillance skills, and the ability to stay alert at all times.
- IT literacy, with the ability to operate detection systems and emergency equipment.
- Ability to remain resourceful, proactive, and organised under pressure.
