IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. Love food and customer service? As an IKEA Food Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday. WHAT WE OFFER • Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.• 24 hour a week contract. Availability to work during the evenings (up until 21:00pm), as well as 3 in 4 weekends is required. The role will be worked as four 6-hour shifts a week.• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview. • The Start Date of employment will be 27 and 28 September 2025. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY • You will take payment at tills, serving customers in a friendly way, at either our Restaurant or Swedish Food Market.• You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. • You will be motivated to keep a clean, safe and pleasant area for our customers to eat, shop or socialise.• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
