We are looking for Finance Manager to lead our Finance department, at a leading global investment bank in Central London. At our location, we have a London operation that has a retail restaurant that does approximately 3000 covers a day, 4 coffee bars, 3 micromarkets, 5 reception desks, alongside an extremely busy Conference Centre which hosts up to 1500pax, on top of a fine-dining floor that caters for 29 private dining rooms. All in all, a very busy operation! Alongside two other of our site locations in UK and Europe.

Job Description
Principle Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Financials for a very busy and demanding contract across 3 locations.
- Proactively partner with the Heads of Departments to explore ways to improve financial performance by providing insightful reporting, support and recommendations
- Work with the Accounts Director to promote and build a strong financial control environment across all locations, ensuring location teams are complying with appropriate company policies and implementing corrective measures where necessary
- Take responsibility for the monthly completion of trading accounts
- Produce period end variance analysis, review trading accounts and support period end review process with commentary and insightful reporting
- Take ownership for accurate client and company forecasts and budgets, including presenting at our quarterly board meetings to clients on our financial performance.
- Liaise directly with our Senior Heads of Departments for any financial data and analysis they may need to assist and strengthen their ongoing projects and proposals.
- Carry out financial audits on site and advise on financial process best practise
- Follow up on sites that fail financial health check audits with a visit and suitable support and advice
- Provide financial training and support, for a team of 2 in the Finance team, leading and mentoring them,
Qualifications
Skillset Required
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA)
- A lively, outgoing personality with proven ability to build rapport with non-finance colleagues
- A motivated, proactive and organised individual with a flexible approach to working hours
- Proven ability to work with, and analyse big data sets
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- A passion for delivering continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a multi-location business
- Experience in financial training
- Commercial or retail finance experience
