We’re looking for an Event Sales and Marketing Manager to work with us! 

Location: London – Zone 1

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience plus performance based bonus

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Job Purpose:

 To develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales, and achieve company objectives by managing both sales and marketing teams, conducting market research, creating campaigns, building customer relationships, and analysing performance data. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: 

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, including annual budgets and sales plans, to achieve revenue goals. 

  • Market Research: 

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand consumer needs, and stay updated on market trends and competitor activities. 

  • Team Leadership: 

Lead, train, coach, and manage sales and marketing staff to achieve their objectives. 

  • Campaign Management: 

Design and oversee advertising, promotional, and digital marketing campaigns across various channels. 

  • Sales & Customer Relations: 

Set sales targets, maintain strong relationships with key clients, and identify new target markets. 

  • Performance Analysis: 

Analyse and report on sales performance, market trends, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to senior management. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: 

Build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to support sales and marketing initiatives. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Have 2+ years’ experience managing a sales team in events, venues or hospitality 
  • Be commercially minded and target-driven, with a strong track record of closing business 
  • Demonstrate proactive sales and new business success 
  • Be highly organised with strong negotiation and communication skills 
  • Lead with warmth, positivity and motivation, inspiring your team and building client trust 
  • Be proficient in MS Office and CRM systems 
  • Be flexible to host client visits, showcases and events including some occasional evenings and weekends
