We’re looking for an Employer and Stakeholder Engagement Lead to drive purposeful partnerships across Belfast. In this outward-facing role, you’ll connect with employers, community partners and public sector stakeholders to create real opportunities for our participants and staff. From work placements to co-production, your leadership will shape the future of our provision.

TL;DR: Location: Belfast Contract: 35hrs M – F Salary: £29 – 33k doe

Role Purpose: You’ll lead our employer and stakeholder engagement strategy across Belfast, securing meaningful work placements, job opportunities, CPD links and referral partnerships that directly benefit programme participants and staff. 

Success in this role looks like: Strong relationships with employers and stakeholders across sectors;  Increased placements, job offers and opportunities for participants;  Partner-led CPD and co-design activities for staff;  Visible local impact through social value and inclusive employment

Your Role: What You’ll Achieve

At

build and nurture the relationships that underpin long-term success, for our
organisation, our participants, and our partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Shape
    and implement our employer and stakeholder engagement strategy, aligning with
    programme goals and social impact objectives.
  • Secure high-quality opportunities including – Work experience and job placements;  social value placements; referrals and wraparound support for participants; CPD for staff;  Employer/stakeholder participation in our Steering Group
  • Develop
    strong, purposeful relationships with employers, local authorities, government
    bodies and community organisations—representing Get Set UK with professionalism
    and care.
  • Ensure
    all engagement activity meets safeguarding, quality assurance and data
    protection standards.
  • Work
    closely with internal teams to ensure all opportunities are effectively routed,
    tracked and reported (e.g. through Careers Advisors, contract delivery teams,
    CRM systems).

Who You Are

You’re
a confident communicator, natural relationship-builder and values-led
professional who thrives on collaboration. You understand the power of
partnerships to drive positive change, and you’re passionate about creating
inclusive, meaningful routes into work.

Specifically, you bring:

  • Experience
    in employer engagement, stakeholder management or community partnerships
  • Knowledge
    of employability, social value or workforce development sectors
  • Excellent
    relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong
    organisational and coordination abilities (including event/meeting
    facilitation)
  • A
    values-driven approach and a commitment to inclusive employment
