The Role

At Ravensbourne we are looking for an Employability Content and Engagement Coordinator to bring creativity, energy, and fresh ideas to our team.

In this role, you’ll create engaging, inclusive employability content that helps students take steps toward defining their future careers with clarity.

From crafting compelling social media campaigns and digital resources to boosting engagement at events and workshops, you’ll make sure our employability service connects with students in dynamic and meaningful ways.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating standout careers and employability content across web, social, and digital platforms.
  • Managing content calendars, campaigns and career platforms that align with the student journey.
  • Building engagement and community through eye-catching social media activity and student-focused campaigns.
  • Promoting opportunities, events, and success stories that inspire students and employers to get involved.
  • Partnering with colleagues, students, alumni, and employers to co-create impactful content.
  • Supporting the delivery of events like careers fairs, employer panels, and employability weeks.
  • Designing and delivering interactive workshops, webinars, and drop-ins

The Candidate

You will be a positive, proactive and collaborative team member, with experience in creating dynamic and engaging content across digital media platforms.

Organised and with a problem-solving attitude, you will thrive in a busy environment, balancing multiple projects without losing your creative edge.

You have …

  • Proven experience in informative and educational content creation, with a flair for creating engaging digital content and campaigns.
  • Practical skills with tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Clear communication skills in writing, designing engaging visuals, or speaking in person.
  • Fresh ideas for digital content and campaigns.
  • A good understanding of the student audience and know how to inspire engagement.
  • Great organisational skills and thrive when managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • An understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion, and how to embed it in everything you do.
  • A motivation to support student success and connect them with meaningful opportunities.
