Overview
Director of Shared Services – United Kingdom
- Building, leading, and developing the HRSC to ensure the highest level of HR service supporting on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Serving as a valuable resource for team members, providing guidance and support to make them successful. In addition, you’ll positively impact how team members experience organizational change.
- Leading projects and initiatives, including coordination of building cyclical processes and new initiatives. You will do all this by working efficiently both individually and as a team, sharing your ideas, and adapting to change.
- Leading a team of approximately 8 initially, however this may grow as we expand across different international locations building our Centre of Excellence.
- Governance and maintenance of global HR processes, documents, data, policies, and systems, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
- Partnering with internal and external legal counsel to ensure that policies, procedures, and documentation comply with relevant laws.
- Serving as a point of contact for inquiries from our employees regarding benefits, policies, employee data, and HR processes and systems, and escalating as appropriate to other HR functions and business partners.
- Driving change and efficiencies with the HRSC function.
- Regular data reporting, including but not exclusive to MI and headcount reporting working in collaboration with finance and payroll.
What we need from you…
- Ability to serve as an escalation point to resolve complex issues for team members.
- Accountability for day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring clear SLAs and KPIs align to an effective and positive employee experience.
- Performance as a critical contributor to the HR Shared Services team by collaborating with HR and business stakeholders and executing tasks that support the whole employee population.
- Eagerness to research and resolve technical and functional issues and respond to questions and requests within and from outside of the HR Shared Services function.
- Willingness and ability to ensure continuous process, documentation, and governance improvement for all HR processes and work with business partners and other departments to execute.
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us…
- Bachelors degree (adult education, training, HR, or other relevant degree)
- Experience in a global HR Shared Service / HR Service Centre role, including ideally experience in a management capacity
- Demonstrated success building strong relationships that foster a trusting, inclusive and collaborative environment
- Systems knowledge, including Service Now, ADP Workforce Now, Oracle Fusion
- Added advantage if you are CIPD qualified level 5 or above or equivalent
