Job Description

Director of Adult Social Care

We are looking for a confident and visionary leader to shape the future of adult social care in Wiltshire. If you are passionate about delivering positive outcomes for adults and have the drive to lead transformation, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

You will already be operating at a senior level, with a strong background in adult care, safeguarding, and housing. You will bring strategic insight, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to lead with integrity in a complex and evolving environment.

Rated GOOD by CQC, Wiltshire is on a journey of ambitious transformation. Our staff and leadership have been recognised for their passion and commitment, and we are looking for someone who can build on this strong foundation.

Your role will be central to delivering high-quality, person-centred services. You will use data and evidence to enhance performance, ensure quality, and lead innovation with pace and purpose. You will also champion prevention and early intervention, working in partnership to maximise independence and opportunity for adults across the county.

As Director, you will inspire and support your teams, manage risk with confidence, and create a positive, inclusive culture where people thrive. You will be a visible leader who listens, challenges the status quo, and puts the voices of those we support at the heart of everything we do.

If you are ready to lead with ambition and make a lasting difference, we would love to hear from you – Director of Adult Social Care – Wiltshire Executive Recruitment
