We are a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK and our purpose is to make everyday taste better.
We supply all the major supermarkets in the UK. We also supply convenience and travel retail outlets, discounters, coffee shops, foodservice, and other retailers. We have strong market positions in a range of categories including sandwiches, salads, sushi, chilled snacking, chilled ready meals, chilled soups and sauces, chilled quiche, ambient sauces and pickles, and frozen Yorkshire Puddings.
In FY22 we manufactured 795m sandwiches and other food to go products, 127m chilled prepared meals, and 249m bottles of cooking sauces, pickles, and condiments. We carry out more than 10,600 direct to store deliveries each day. We have 21 world-class manufacturing units across 16 locations in the UK, with industry-leading technology and supply chain capabilities. We generated revenues of £1.7bn in FY22 and employ approximately 14,000 people.

We have a great opportunity for a Demand Manager to join our Central Functions Supply Chain team in Worksop.
Role Purpose
To lead the demand planning process for your team, ensuring processes facilitate data sharing and reviews, engaging with sites, sales teams and customers, and ensuring decisions on priorities are made
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the demand planning process for your team over relevant short and/or long term horizons to ensure accurate forecasting with Commercial and Operational functions as required
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across the demand planning team through collaboration with other Demand Managers to drive a standardized and efficient process
  • Manage and develop your team to support their growth and delivery of supply chain metrics and business plans
  • Ongoing management & analysis of customer KPI’s to maximise sales & availability whilst balancing waste & efficiency in the supply chain, collaborating with customers where relevant
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimise performance to deliver business effectiveness and cost efficiency
What we’re looking for
  • Ideally qualified to degree level
  • Experience of working with and understanding supply / demand processes
  • Experience of working closely with customers, managing customer expectations and delivery of service
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, growth industry or business
  • Experience working with computers (ideally advanced skills and knowledge)
