Data Insights Senior Editor – Europe

Job Purpose:
 
Stats Perform are looking for a full-time Data Insights Senior Editor for the team in the Netherlands. The Editor will join the Data Insights team in Amsterdam and report to the Data Insights Team Lead. 
 
WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT
 
Together with the other Data Insights Senior Editor, you will be a pacesetter within the Data Insights Team, making sure that the team produces the best facts, writes the best editorials and finds the most relevant stories out there right now in football and delivers it to the respective clients in time. You will advance the understanding of data metrics in the media and other customers and ensure a correct use of data in football. Together with the Team Lead, you will look to develop new products and implement strategy. You will be responsible for the management and training of the part-time team and will assist with the management of the full-time editors. will help clients create the best broadcasts, editorials, socials, web content and print. 
 
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS
 
Extensive knowledge of Dutch and European football, ideally in combination with familiarity in data. Is able to dilute important statistical information from large datasets and effectively transfer this information to clients. Works accurately and independently in live environments – you will need to respond quickly to events with no margin for error. Experience with Office 365, in particular with Excel. Available during evenings and weekends. Fluent in Dutch, expert level in English.
