Cookstown Clamp Van Driver / Traffic Attendant

Location: Cookstown

Salary: £14.00 per hour (Permanent, Full-Time)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

As a Clamp Van Driver / Traffic Attendant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining parking compliance and safety across the Cookstown area. This is a hands-on, customer-focused position where no two days are the same.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Patrolling car parks and enforcing on-street parking regulations.

  • Providing information and advice to the public regarding clamping, fines, and parking rules.

  • Supporting public safety by promoting and maintaining parking compliance.

  • Delivering excellent customer service and helping to educate motorists on proper parking practices.

You’ll be working outdoors, independently and as part of a supportive team, helping to keep Cookstown’s streets and car parks safe, tidy, and efficient.

What You’ll Need

  • A full, clean manual driving licence (required to drive a company van).

  • Must be aged 21 or over (to comply with insurance requirements).

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
