Chef Manager

£27,000 per annum (DOE)

5 over 7 working pattern, predominantly Monday – Friday – occasional weekends

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager to support the Contract Manager at one of our accounts based in Coventry.

You’ll will be working within the exciting and world leading HS2 contract for ESS, as a Chef Manager you will report to the Contract Group Manager, you will be running one of the sites within the HS2 Contract. The role will involve an element of cooking onsite and finishing the menu items that will be sent form the ‘CPU’ Central Production unit’. You will also be responsible for the site bookwork, Health and Safety and team training. You will also be working Monday to Friday, there may also be the requirement to work some evenings and weekends.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the onsite catering team, and supporting the Contract Manager with off site events
  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
  • Representing ESS and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations
