Chef – Circle Rehab Edgbaston (40 hours per week, £14.50 per hour)
We’re delighted to be recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Chef to join our supportive kitchen team at Circle Rehab Edgbaston. This is a full‑time position offering 40 hours per week, with shifts across 7 days on a rotational basis. You’ll contribute to delivering breakfast, lunch and evening meals for our patients and visitors, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking nutritious, appealing meals in line with set menus
- Delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
- Contributing ideas when menus are reviewed or updated
- Supporting a positive dining experience and responding to feedback appropriately
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and organisational policies
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine passion for great food and quality service
- Previous experience working as a Chef, ideally in a similar healthcare or service‑focused environment
- A team‑oriented approach with confidence in supporting colleagues
- A valid Food Hygiene certificate
- Reliability, flexibility and a proactive, positive attitude
