JOB PURPOSE

As the Change & Release Manager you are responsible for the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of Change and Release Management processes within a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework. Your role is to ensure that changes and releases are delivered in a controlled, standardised, and auditable manner, minimising risk and disruption to live services. By driving process adherence, facilitating governance forums, and ensuring performance accountability, the role supports service stability, operational excellence, and supplier alignment.

You will be responsible for:
- Leading the ongoing governance and continuous improvement of the Change Management process. Ensure that all changes are assessed, authorised, and implemented in accordance with ITIL best practices and organisational risk appetite.
- Defining and implementing a consistent, repeatable, and scalable approach to Release Management across all service providers. Ensure that releases are planned, tested, and deployed with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Developing and maintaining reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of Change and Release Management processes. Analyse trends, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability across internal teams and third-party suppliers for performance outcomes.
- Chairing and coordinating key governance forums related to Change and Release Management, including Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and Release Readiness Reviews. Ensure that decisions are documented, risks are mitigated, and stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the maturity of Change and Release processes through automation, tooling enhancements, and stakeholder feedback. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management.
- Acting as a central point of contact for all matters related to Change and Release Management. Maintain strong relationships with service owners, delivery teams, and supplier representatives to ensure alignment and transparency.
PERSONAL PROFILE

- Proven experience in Change and Release Management within a SIAM or multi-supplier environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and their application in complex service ecosystems.
- Experience in leading governance forums and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in service management tools and reporting platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive accountability across diverse teams and suppliers.
