About the job you’re considering​

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Reporting Lead with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, monitoring, optimising, and documenting reporting solutions, and collaborating across key business and technical interfaces to deliver actionable insights and drive BI Reporting and Management Information outcomes.

Your role

•    Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of BI reporting solutions to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
•    Reporting Optimisation: Work with BI (CBOS) team members to refine and improve BI solutions tailored to meet evolving business needs.
•    Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reporting processes, solutions, and workflows.
•    Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, deliver bespoke BI solutions, and provide relevant training and support for effective use of BI tools.
•    Interface Collaboration: Engage actively with Head of BI, BI Manager, BI (CBOS) team members, Group IT, key business areas and Senior Management to report progress, share challenges, and align with business requirements.
•    Technical Support: Collaborate with Group IT for monitoring Power BI Fabric performance and general troubleshooting of technical issues.

Your skills and experience

•    Microsoft Power Platform: Proficient in Power BI, SQL, Visual Studio and Power Automate for designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions.
•    Data Analysis & Visualization: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear and understandable visuals.
•    Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior management, and translate requirements into technical deliverables.
•    Documentation & Process Management: Skilled in developing and maintaining process documentation, solution guides, and knowledge bases.
•    Collaboration: Demonstrated success working within cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact BI solutions.
•    Training & Support: Experience providing training and ongoing support for BI tools and processes to end users.
•    Business Acumen: Understanding of business intelligence strategies and their application in achieving organisational objectives.

Your security clearance ​

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. ​

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.​
