Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
As Breakfast Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional morning dining experience, ensuring a la carte breakfast service and presentations reflect the highest standards of quality, consistency, and refinement expected in a luxury hotel environment.
You will combine culinary craftsmanship with strong organisational discipline, supporting food cost control while maintaining flawless execution. Your responsibilities will include performing the following to the highest professional standards:
- Prepare and present breakfast and designated meal offerings to an exceptional standard, fully aligned with hotel and brand guidelines
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior kitchen team members as required to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness and organisation across all work areas, ensuring strict food safety and cross-contamination controls
- Execute precise and well-structured mise en place for breakfast service and additional meal periods, as required
- Support positive and timely resolutions to guest requests or enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure all food products meet the highest quality standards and are stored correctly in accordance with food safety regulations
- Contribute to effective cost control, supporting gross profit optimisation and departmental financial objectives
- Collaborate respectfully with other departments to maintain seamless operations and strong working relationships
- Promptly report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety concerns to uphold a safe and compliant kitchen environment
- Adhere fully to hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food hygiene legislation
- Champion environmentally responsible practices aligned with the hotel’s sustainability commitments
What are we looking for?
A Breakfast Chef de Partie within Hilton brands demonstrates precision, consistency, and pride in delivering an elevated morning dining experience. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent professional culinary qualification
- Current Basic Food Hygiene certification
- A positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills within a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Capability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar Chef de Partie or senior breakfast role
- Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification
